Namasteezy Spirit means we do not hang around disoriented crowds. Rather, we share and create with a crowd that is oriented. People will figure it out.
Do you see how confused and non-intuitive people are, and the places they gather online like tribe? Real tribal values are ABSOLUTELY MISSING from the crowded wastelands of their gatherings and internet “my” spaces. We at nmstzy are all about collectives but not when they are moving people in the wrong direction. We honor people for being collective and joining in on the truth process and we seek others who want to manifest more interdependently. But many collectives form and then cannot recognize each others purposes, they do not work together very well.
Namasteezy seeks to share solutions and examples that can help us regain our community building skills. We share info, not withhold it. We enjoy messengers and travelers and give people places to stay, we do not hide in apathy and we do not fear “so called others”. We balance a love for those who hold space and those who travel – both have wisdom and we need both to have a more complete view of our world.
We do this through sharing our yoga, art and music projects as a truth process and we seek to recognize yours and all who have made progress in the right directions. We seek others who would like to become more resourceful. And we seek to empower ourselves and others to enjoy nature more and to create a quaility of life.

Namasteezy has been networking with people whoare very interested in events, people who would like to establish news ways of getting there, new ways of participating in the already established events, as well as with people out to establish new events in rejection of those who have established events which are not geared toward social change (many event producers have become part of the problem and gatekeep and do not adapt to meet our collective needs.
One small step is to support those who are out to make good things happen, small or large, even if its just how you get there or home?
Here is a message board where we are collecting info and sharing love for those whoare doing the most! One group has a great burning car idea, and we do need to look at all the gas burned because of all the people who travel long distances to these events, especially burning man!
Brainstorming the new frontiers:
http://www.burningcar.org/carfreeplans.html
* Imagine an entirely car-free camp in the desert
* Part of Burning Man and/or an independent event
* Quite likely bringing materials and participants via biodiesel trucks and buses,
(a terriblllle concession I know) but any number bringing ourselves and cargo
entirely via Critical Mass
* Windmills, solar cells, graywater, landsailers, solar ovens, sprout farms…
* Pedal-powered ice cream makers, laundry machines, shower pumps…
* Cargo and human transport assistance to the moribundly motorbound (M-n-M’s),
via benevolent trailer magic (via the COUCH)
** we are so kind! **
* YELLOW BIKES assistance to the M-n-M’s…
* Dyonisian SUV takeovers, bullhorn revelry, Eminem karaoke…
* Trash chasing playapoof collection competitions (video soon!)
* Supplement to the DMV — but with more bite!
* “Cars really have no place around ecstacy addled naked people” – Dr. Mess
* Car-free zone on the playa defended mightily; mischief an elf on the wheel
* ABSURDWAR on art cars infringing our (no) borders!
* And of course, a giant TROJAN CAR to play in and perhaps, supplant THE MAN
(after all, the military’s motorcar is a better icon of THE MAN than a humanoid…)
* and/or/or/and just a really nice time.
NOTE: actually burning cars is very toxic and not advised.
Also check website for music by Heather Lev, who also wrote “Wouldn’t it be nice if cars were banned?” …..While biking through Berkeley…found and linked from http://www.closeindianpoint.org/
This is pretty interesting what you are trying here. You are asking alot of these people but if it’s going to be done and succeed your methods stands a better chance than any I can think of.
You might follow it up with something like, “What are you going to do? Wait for the corporations and infiltrated US government run you over and put you in a bag?” Or some such thing. Rock ‘em, wake them up and get them thinking about sharing and getting on the same page.
And the best place for that would be a message board for distillation, then a message board for actions.
Here is my link to an “ourspace” at the tribe platform…. Maybe it will help too…..

Via Ara Anderson we heard about…..
GIANT VALUE (http://www.giantvalue.net)
Here are some words about them to check into:
“…Oddball songwriting about e-bay addiction and the insensitivity of fish
ends up being the perfect foil to its peppy, sophisticated sound – as if
Cibo Matto meets Nino Rota, with a dash of Henry Mancini. It’s the best kind
of quirkiness… ” – Bill Heehan, Bay Area Buzz, volume 2, issue no. 1,
july/august 2003
“… you can’t fully grasp the band’s sway until you witness Dena, Bru, and
Vinnie at work…Even if you’re dead-set on ducking the enthusiasm, you’ll
likely fail. It’s not that Giant Value play bubblegum pop; there’s a dose of
sadness in almost every song. But they do leave you wondering where most
bands get the idea that in order to be evocative, they must also be
consistently sorrowful.” – Tali Woodward, San Francisco Bay Guardian, 8 Days
a Week, March 15, 2003

Mayan Majix Announcements
November 23, 2007
8 – Serpent (Chicchan)
Hello Friends of Mayan Majix,
I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!
1) Monday Nov. 19th began the 5th Night of the Galactic Cycle. These
are the times when I really miss Ian and his ability to fill us in on
what he felt we would be encountering this new cycle on the Mayan
Calendar. What I can do is tell you the dates of the last 5th Night
(of the Planetary cycle) – December 21, 1932 September 6, 1952 and
encourage you to do what Ian would do and look at the historical
events that occurred during that time and perhaps it will help in
understanding the cycle we are now entering. I was recently looking
thru a book of Ian’s which he used in his research called “The Time
tables of Technology” (ISBN 0-671-76918-9).
Some key events that occurred during this time period include: the
depression, RCA demonstrates the first TV, Color photography is
developed, Microwaves are discovered, the first rocket launched in
Germany, WWII, the Atomic bomb, Roswell UFO event, the first computers
developed (Z1 and ENIAC), the scanning electron microscope is
developed, the first transistors is developed, the atomic clock is
introduced, the first supersonic airplane is flown (X-1), video tape
recorder (VTR) developed, the US explodes its first thermonuclear
device (H-Bomb).
2) I was sent an interesting article written by a Celesttina in
Nelson. B.C. who shares her thoughts on the
5th Night of the Galactic Cycle. You can read it at this address:
http://mayanmajix.com/art3339.html
3) To listen to a internet radio interview of Dr. Calleman discussing
the Mayan Calendar recorded in July of 2007.
click this link: http://www.breakfornews.com/audio/NextLevel070220a.mp3
4) Fred Shute our jeweler has asked me to announce that the cut off
date for Christmas delivery on jewelry orders
is December 10, 2007.
5) Speaking of Mayan jewelry, we have recently added new piece to the
Mayan Jewelry line. It is a Mayan Bracelet originally carved by Ian
Xel Lungold. It is exquisite in detail and very impressive. Take a
look at this address:

*There is a great learning in understanding, “Ego”and life **living in a
balanced way. *
*** *
*This word “Ego” brings a little confusion in us. People simply catch this
word and abuse each other. *
* *
*Ego is basically an emotion, which creates a pride in the human form. For
example, trying to change something, that is not needed, at that particular
moment of time, but with your strong emotion of proving something comes in a
way to do an action, which brings, a tense atmosphere, all around you. This
is “Ego”. *
*** *
*”Ego” is basically an animal instinct where you belittle yourself, from
what really you are. The reason can be the reaction you catch from other
persons also, but still maintaining serenity in those situations, is what is
a balanced way of living. Understanding the fact, and not getting into that
“fall” of action. *
* *
*The people, who are sufficient enough to themselves, don’t get involve in
this “Ego” contest, but keep an equanimity, to let the time care of itself.
They step back from the situations for a while and look for a way, guidance,
to implement something better for all, which benefits all. This nature is
what we call a real nature of us all. This is hardest part, easily said
than done. As humans, an individuals, the impulsive reaction of stopping
something that we do not wish to happen, comes in a way, “proving
ourselves”, for the result. This is “ego”. Ego is not separate; it is a
sense of belonging in the human form. You can’t make it go away, but you can
embrace and make use of it as a part of your balancing nature. Make use of
your thoughts that equalizes the best parts of your body. By making your
mind still, you drop the idea of your individuality, and learn to balance
the “Gap” between doing & none doing, and become Non-doing. *
* *
*Meditation, gives you the knowledge of living life in a middle way. That is
the only way to know “Self”, because “Self” dwells in the middle of a human
form. .Basically learning life to live in a balanced way, according to time
and place is the truth. This only brings unity & harmony among all in all
living beings. This is the existence of Nature, the time, and existence of
whole universe.*
* *
*Become a two year old, when you talk to a two year infant. Become a four
year old, or a seven year child, when you deal with that age of child. Try
to understand that child, with those laughing eyes, (Perhaps some times),
screaming eyes. for all the wants, & needs of them. *
* *
*You can’t preach a child of four years, about wealth, how to earn it and
posses it. Neither can you make aware of health programs to a child of six
years old. You can’t give a lecture to a seven year boy, or girl, about
relationship. Growth has its own time and everything has to come naturally.
In its own time. Scriptures are deep to understand. Just by reading a line
or two, does not bring any meaning at all, unless perceived in a right way.
*
* *
*Our true nature is just to accommodate, with the real situation. That’s
all. You have to fit in. Step back & see life. All are part of life.*
*Good luck to you, in your meditation. *
* *
*Any comments, welcome!*

! Jai Gurudev !
Balance is the answer because no matter how strong you are you can fall if there is no balance.
Balance is also productive. I will provide you with something and you will be encouraged to improve it.
I will benefit from learning. Yoga teaches balance, never give more than you take= never take more than you give.
The reason people fail is because they dont follow balance principle, that is what I think.

I was wondering if Drea has contact info for the space
in Freemont she used to rent by the hour for her Yoga
workshops. I have a friend that’s looking for space to
teach.
If you have it, do you mind emailling it to me?
Thanks so much!

I agree with you completely about our need for community and the need to (un)learn how to serve the greater good by working together as part of the growing collective of Love & Peace!
As the collective grows, so do the needs. I offer love, friendship and support for your efforts in sharing the yogi lifestyle with all. The message regarding Hip Hop(e) is a strong one. So many artists using that ‘medium’ to share and reach the heart of others.
I am committed to speak and live the love I want the world to see. If you think I can be of assistance, let me know what resources you need and I will send the message out in a bottle into the universe.
Blessings, Peace & Love
I’ve learned that an attention to needs creates an environment of peace and seek to create an understanding of that in community.
Priorities of needs, with appropriate divergence to respect the areas of needs, those short term and long term is a need in itself.
Agreement upon those divergent needs, with their appropriate immediacy and expectations or implicit obligation of consistency, persistence, begats fulfillment.
All complex communications requiring commitment. Then, “Why commit?”, what expectation is realistic to come from an action today, in this environemnt of extreme social diversity?
Circular it becomes, because no matter how diverse it might be, the most fundamental short term needs we have are almost identical and immutable.
However, …………. do we ever take time to define them, to fix them in time as an accepted given state of natural, implicit agreement then build upon that as a shared basis?
Dear Namasteezy Collective,
My own practice, the divine and a passion for learning has led me to many wonderful people, places and online communities. Yours has grown and has shown power as a collective.
I see and feel much love – thus felt compelled to share this with you and let you decide if it is worth pursuing.
To spread a message one does need a medium. The internet can be used (as you are already doing) to share information – friendship – love while reshaping the world we live in.
I believe in many ways your project and that of Seane Corne (really all of us who are living and breathing yoga with love) are parallel if not oneness. Take a look at the following sites and see if you think there is merit to involvement. Definitely not because I am involved, but because the message when united with others just grows brighter!
I am not sure on the thoughts of the sponsorship by a “corporation” if one is involved-I just know that sharing Yoga with as many people as possible will lead to an internal revolution. The change from within leads to change with(out).

This is my message in a bottle.
Blessings – Peace – Love
Hi guys!
Been lurking here for a while and finally decided to register and post a message of my own.
To tell you a little about me, my name is Jane and I really love reading, my dogs, and to watch gossip girl season 2 online (this is my favorite site to do it at).
So yeah, thanks for the great forum and can’t wait to chat with everyone!
