Namaspirit is happy to bring a few studio projects together, in efforts to do our part in making this world more fun and calm and loving and interesting.
We have brought together our 100th Monkey Book hunt, and our Namaspirit Rideshare project to create Travel in Tribe. Our efforts as a yoga studio collective are partly to support true independent fiber arts, music and weaving. The mass consciousness process is an aspect of living fully and truly once deep understandings of the 100th monkey are a part of you. We have been using couchsurf for a while now, helping people who travel the world, sharing information and seeding connections for the days when we travel. Our rideshare project is a little sister to the Couchsurfing efforts, so we thought we would get it all together (to gather), and use the 100th monkey book hunt to help promote and connect us and to help support people and their purposes. Many people who travel are seeking places to practice and would like to share what they see, what they learn and read. And they have their eyes open, and ears to the ground, so we should honor them and share in the spirituality that motivated them to travel, a walk about or a or to take a pilgrimage.
We will now present a few links to the online groups, project websites and studios. And then below that, we will present some information about collective consciousness, the 100th monkey book we are seeking and some research by people that may help get you into the mode to network and build!

And now our blurb, then the research…..
Who really benefits from The Global Consciousness Project, (GCP) also called “the EGG Project” ? According to the wikipedia; “The EGG Project is a long-running science experiment maintained by an international collaboration of about 100 research scientists and engineers. It is based on technology developed at Princeton to study interactions of consciousness with physical systems. The GCP has been collecting data from a global network of random event generators since August, 1998. The network currently maintains about 65 sites around the world running custom software that reads the output of physical random number generators and records a trial (sum of 200 bits) once every second, 24/7, continuously over months and years. The data is transmitted over the Internet to a server in Princeton, NJ, USA, where they are archived for later analysis. The result is a database of synchronized parallel sequences of truly random numbers.
The research question is whether there are deviations from randomness correlated with major events that engage the attention of large numbers of people. Such correlations are interpreted as reflecting the presence and activity of consciousness in the world.”
hmmmmm…….. Lets get back to the above very soon.
Now lets look at what the people can do, something from the heart, not of and for corporations, something done by us for us.
We found this…..
THE MASS CONSCIOUSNESS PROJECT’s Friend Space (Top 24)
www.myspace.com/massconsciousnessproject
THE MASS CONSCIOUSNESS PROJECT has 10525 friends. And a cryptic message that says “when will we be ready?”
Now lets take a look at a book that is the spirit behind what the people are aiming for is their mass consciousness project, in terms of creating world peace, in terms of bringing love into the world.
The Hundredth Monkey by Ken Keyes Jr.
My review
rating: 5 of 5 stars
What you can gather from the book is……
Chris Brown wrote, “Biologists Observe Evidence of Dream State Communications.
(portions of Ken Keyes book follow)
The story of the Hundredth Monkey.
Written from memory by Christopher A. Brown 12/19/02 from a reading of the original book produced by the team of biologists studying the Macaca Fuscata on Yoshimi island in the 1950’s.
The bios had been watching the monkeys for many years and had come to know them so well that they had names for them. One year there was a tremendous period of storms lasting over three months. The monkeys inhabited a valley that mouthed at the sea in a cove. There was a wide floodway that emptied near the center of the cove.
On one side of the cove there was large stand of trees bearing fruit that was the major food source for the monkeys. That side had no water. The other side had a spring and some fruit trees but not as much food generally.
It had been very dry and most of the monkeys were spending their nights on the side with the spring so water was available in the morning. later they would cross the small valley and harvest fruit to return later in the day for water.
One night the storms began with a exceedingly heavy downpour. So much rain fell that the monkeys could not cross in the morning to the side with food. The monkeys searched out what food they could find. This was not the most plentiful time of year. The biologists worried about the large population on the side with little food and projected that the food would not last long.
After about two weeks the monkeys were starving and the rain continued every few days or so keeping the flood channel 2 to 3 feet deep and flowing 15 to 20 mph. In this period the bios had decided to break their primary rule. To feed the monkeys interfering with the validity of their research. They reasoned they had been their for years and learned most of what was valuable about the behavior of their subjects while watching with telescopes from their floating barge blinds just beyond the gentle waves. They were able to see well enough to tell individuals apart and had developed names for them to distinguish them in their notes. They had become attached to their subjects and had affection for them. This sentiment overcame the strict scientific attitude of no interference and it was decided to help the monkeys to survive.
Sweet potatoes had been ordered up for the bios because they kept well and there were many on hand. A method of delivery had been devised that kept the bios hidden and actually provided a new type of observational study of the monkeys. In the night a raft was dispatched from a barge and taken into the mouth of the fresh water outlet. Beaching in fresh water flow, the bags of sweet potatoes would be dipped in the fresh water to remove what human smell could be washed away. The potatoes were then thrown by the bios onto the sand, spreading them out providing opportunity for the diverse group to be separate in the discoveries of the food in the hopes to reduce squabbling. When the wet potatoes hit the sand and rolled the sand stuck to them thickly.
The monkeys on the side with plentiful food still had plenty. A week or two went by and the bios watched the monkeys gather and eat the potatoes. They did not like the sand on them. Some nights it was raining still and they were washed on one side. The monkeys enjoyed them more. Around this time the routine of waking up in the middle of the night became tiresome and everyone was taking turns. The heavy rainfall gathered on the wide flat beach and formed a puddle during one particularly heavy rain. The puddle broke over the edge of the fresh water creek flowing to the ocean lowering the average 2 foot bank and created an eddy area where the bios could get closer to adjacent banks to distribute some of the potatoes. A few days after the potatoes were distributed there the first potatoes was washed.
One morning a baby female monkey with her aunt was near the fresh water eddy handling a sandy potatoes. The baby went down the easy slope to the fresh water and rinsed it off before eating it. The bios had several observation barges and one had a diagonal view upstream to the eddy. Through the powerful telescope they could see the baby enjoyed the clean potato much more than the gritty one. This continued for over a week.
Suddenly one morning the aunt, after the baby female washed her potato, took hers to the fresh water and followed the actions of the baby. Within a day or two her mate had mimicked the behavior. After a week and a half the practice had spread to the extended family of perhaps 15 to 20 monkeys. Slowly over the next 3 weeks up to 70 or 80 monkeys were washing potatoes in fresh water. The bios were having no trouble counting the monkeys involved with the practice until the numbers reached this point. They did their best comparing notes and they moved a barge to give a better view of an up stream area where a few monkeys had taken potatoes to eat. Around this time it was decided to distribute most of the potatoes nearer the ocean so they could observe and count the monkeys who were washing the potatoes better.
Sometime just before this the monkeys on the other side were beginning to starve. They had depleted all of the food growing naturally there and the bios had no trouble in deciding to break their rule a second time. One had decided to leave the island and explain to a higher authority why they needed such an increase in potatoes. They explained that they had garnered all the usable information they could from the monkeys over the last for or five years when the monkeys were living in a natural state and that there was a new opportunity to study the learning structures in the community of monkeys by feeding them. Larger quantities of potatoes were delivered.
(note) In the original book telling this story there was a break from the account of the monkeys behavior to note that there was a distance of perhaps three hundred feet between the two banks of the fresh water creeks and that the monkeys could not see each other or did not even pay any attention to the monkeys on the other side. Only in the upstream areas where the channel was narrower did the monkeys even notice their counterparts on the opposite banks. There was a mention that predators existed in the thicker vegetation and the monkeys liked to stay in the open near between few trees for sanctuary if needed. It was stated in this portion that because of what happened next that the bios realized that the retelling of the story, as it had happened, might be questioned due to the possibility that the monkeys on one side had learned from watching the monkeys on the other. The original story emphasized that the monkeys on one side almost never even noticed the monkeys on the other side. It was speculated that the monkeys could not see well at those distances. This realization contributed to the bios decision to distribute the potatoes closer to the ocean to improve the counting of the potato washing. In the beginning they had worried that the monkeys that rarely spent time by the ocean might notice the barges floating at the back edge of the waves while collecting potatoes nearer the ocean. it was also stated that the fresh water channel widened some making it very unlikely that monkeys near the ocean could see at all, monkeys on the other side.
At a point when about 90 monkeys were washing potatoes in fresh water the original baby monkey to first wash its potato went to the ocean to do do. It was speculated by the bios that the move of the potato distribution took the baby monkey away from its area of easy access to the fresh water and forced the baby to go to the ocean to rinse its potato. The bios noticed that the baby relished its potato greatly after rinsing in salt water. A few days later after washing the potato in salt water the aunt noticed the increased pleasure of the baby eating somewhat more potato than it had and going back and forth to the ocean for rinsing. the aunt again learned from the baby female and followed her to the ocean to rinse her food.
The learning spread quicker, the count the bios had been struggling to keep was approaching 100. At this time the monkeys on the other side were still eating sandy potatoes. One morning all of the monkeys on the side where the feeding began went to the ocean to rinse their potatoes. A few days later the all of the monkeys on the other side did the same.
the bios were astounded and immediately documented independent of the funding source what they had observed and wrote the original book titled, “the Hundredth Monkey” because by their very best count it was right at 100 when all of the monkeys on the side first fed began to rinse their food in fresh water. the bios noted that for a time prior to that a number of mostly older monkeys did not learn to wash potatoes at all even though they had tasted the food washed in fresh water.”
A friend of Mr. Browns, (over a decade ago) insisted that he read another account of the Hundredth Monkey. It was written by the team of biologists referred to in this account. The story was a little different but basically the same. The one important thing left out in this account was the fact that one day the monkeys woke up and they ALL were washing the potatoes.
If monkeys can do this it is logical to assume that we can do it better, more completely in a larger variety of ways.
What if the group had NO conscious awareness or control over the information? What would control the sharing of information? Compulsions? Is this why our society is out of control?

AND HERE IS THE NAMASTEEZY STEP; OUR STEP TOWARD THAT UNITY AND OUR VIEWS ABOUT IT, OUR INVITATION TO YOU TO HELP US EXAND THAT HUMAN POTENTIAL.
THE MEDIUM IS THE MESSAGE
Herbert Marshall McLuhan, always the man of the moment, is perhaps most remembered for his statement made in the 1960’s that “the medium is the message.”
The seed of that statement contains the kernel of truth for all mediums and messages, revealing the yin/yang nature and relationship of both.
But that kernel did not sprout until the birth and subsequent development of what has now come to be known as “Interdependent Hip Hop (Namaspirit).” The message of Interdependent Namaspirit, seemly so disparate and contradictory at times, is none other than the ever-present, spoken, song or silent, expression of the essential medium of all experience – - the human heart.
Hip Hop(e), when undressed and unmasked, is none other than sincerity itself. It is quintessential sincerity clothed in the robe of human experience, crowned with the hope of all who cry out for justice and a future of interdependent existence – - where not only every being, but every experience, thought, sound, touch, taste, and consciousness itself is seen as wonderfully interdependent – - and treated with the care and dignity which should be afforded to each and every infinite manifestation of life; formed or formless.
We at Namasteezy have struggled since our inception, with the attempt to refine and purify our message. Each and every time we have done so, we have never been able to hold on to the then most recent version of that message. And now we know why, because “we,” all of us – - the “medium” of human experience itself – - is that message; and is constantly, wonderfully, and miraculously being expressed not only with, but also between, each breath we as individuals and the planet takes. And not just this planet, we call “earth,” but the entire dancing galaxies of endless star systems, the only seeming limitation of which is a reflection of our one “mind.”
After having thus struggled, and sweat “blood,” we now lie exhausted and at the same time blissfully free. For we have come to realize, through this process itself, that if the message of Hip Hop is to be perfected (which actually means wholly completed), it will only be so in that moment where “all possible expression of the infinite range of human experience” happens simultaneously.
We have been blessed with the guidance of seeing that this seemingly impossible moment is actually the reality of our happening, all of our happenings; and although at the beginning of our search for truth we viewed our attempt to achieve the perfect Hip Hop message as a problem, we now see, through the miracle of life itself, that not only is the medium the message, but the problem is the solution.
Marshall McLuhan also said that the “answers are always inside the problem, not outside.” We have learned that the “problem” or the “question” is the solution or answer, in a form, the main import of which, is signifying that the person or persons facing the problem or asking the question are qualified or ready to see the solution or receive the answer.
There is no path to perfection other than the perfection or completion of our own beings; and inevitably this will involve sincere or pure expression of body, speech or mind. The secret of that purity, that total, unmixed, unadulterated, and ultimately undifferentiated (in truth) expression, is that although it must, of necessity, arise from and traverse the path of all our idiosyncrasies, differences, and infinitely seemingly separate experiences – - it is only perfected in the moment in which all the distinctions disappear into and evolve out of the equanimity of the eternal, ever present and unperturbed penetrating moment of heart/mind livingness from and through which all of us are protected by the never ending shower of blessings.
It is the expression of that eternal and complete moment, the endlessly recurring marriage of the birth and completion of all experience that we here at Namasteezy are seeking, through Hip Hop. We have also come to realize that it can only happen when we and all others are joined together in that moment.
While this may not be physically possible, we know it can and will happen, for perfection, again, means “completion,” and all processes naturally seek and evolve into and out of completion – - not in the sense of measurements such as time, but because that ever present moment of eternal sameness is the amniotic fluid of all life.
We want to swim in that environment and are, and have been, ready to do so for quite some time now.
Will you join us? We are seeking to join with others, in and through the process of this unfoldment as it reveals its magically evolving presence. We ask you to take hold our outstretched hand, of our hearts and minds, and dance with us.
We want to dance through Hip Hop into the unfoldment of perfection itself. We invite you to participate with us. The moment you choose to do so, on whatever level you desire or are able, it will no longer be “us” and “you” – - but just “us.” Then step by step, we want to increase that “us” until there will simply be left the purity of the eternal moment of love itself, from which again all diversity will continue to be reflected and supported.
We know that this is not only possible, but that it happens, unnoticed, every day. Men and women on frontiers, whether of time or space, abandon their previous identities. And when you are on the phone, radio or on the air, you have no body.
Further thoughts:
Other quotes by Marshall McLuhan:
“The story of modern America begins with the discovery of the white man by
The Native Americans.” [Give this, and the following, some thought in the context of working interdependently, right here, right now, for a better world.]
“With telephone and TV it is not so much the message as the sender that is
‘sent.’”
“Money is the poor man’s credit card.”
“We look at the present through a rear-view mirror. We march backwards into
the future.”
“You mean my whole fallacy’s wrong?”
When you are on the phone or on the air, you have no body.
“All advertising advertises advertising.”
“This information is top security. When you have read it, destroy yourself.”
“One of the nicest things about being big is the luxury of thinking little.”
“In big industry new ideas are invited to rear their heads so they can be clobbered at once. The idea department of a big firm is a sort of lab for isolating dangerous viruses.”
“When a thing is current, it creates currency.”
“Men on frontiers, whether of time or space, abandon their previous identities. Neighborhood gives identity. Frontiers snatch it away.”
And here is a little something to get the vibes going, we thought this might inspire the art of artful dreaming, and get you into the 100 monkey mode…

Most importantly, remember, the monkeys were thinking of their needs when the knowledge became a part of the field that created the impulse and acceptance of washing potatoes, first in fresh water, then in salt water.
By knowing our vital needs well, we actually know others needs, because we share those things. Even though we do not know each other yet here, we can know our needs, we can know that those needs are the same for all people.
We are unified by our knowledge of needs, even though we do not know one another. How vital is it to know that fact and how vital is it to distinguish our needs from the infinite wants that corp think has promoted in media for 30+ years. Fulfilled needs keep us alive, but which wants do not impair the fullfillment of needs while still making the foundation of happiness?
Global consciousness in a way is like using our mind and intuition like a telepathic sender and receiver. This is our new way of life and thinking. I physically had to learn how to shut down the right side of my brain. I was so open to incoming stimuli
By: Theresa J. Thurmond Morris
Global consciousness information is probably the broadest topic one can research. The television series “TAKEN” has been playing in Canada and I have heard the word accepted as one who was either a contactee or an abductee. This was part of our global consciousness on paranormal intuition information. We leave earth sooner or later with what we learned about life. Hard to believe global consciousness was around in the 15th century. Hard to believe that the pyramids were built as tombs only. Actually they were markers used from space for triangulation.
Occam’s Razor, not Akkam’s Razor. From William of Occam, 15th Century scientist. “Entities shall not be multiplied beyond necessity.” We are taught to share and care about the all even though we are only one physical being learning to think as an individual as one life. We are all part of the information and how it is perceived not only conceived. We are all connected through global consciousness.
I thought this information was important enough not to be lost so, I included it in an article for my readers to add to their data. One can spend hours, days, weeks, and months doing research and by the time the information is compiled it is already outdated and time to move onto the latest news and information. We all have strengths.
Being that I am not a spiritual intellectual and quantum physicist, I thought this list would stimulate or woo others in as it reeled me into deeper thought and research. Thanks to all those out there who try to understand my communications.
I wanted to write an article but by the time I found so much information it took up the whole article listing others but we can add our own opinions as readers.
The Internet information really helps all of us in global awareness and this is why we need to keep this open to the whole world. There is so much information that I do not see how anyone can decide on one major. I like being plugged into the whole Akashic field and relate the pure knowledge to like having access to the Internet without having to use the physical products.
Global consciousness in a way is like using our mind and intuition like a telepathic sender and receiver. This is our new way of life and thinking. I physically had to learn how to shut down the right side of my brain. I was so open to incoming stimuli all the time that I needed to learn to focus. So I practiced just like I used to practice opening up to higher levels of the mind and feeling thoughts and incoming information. It took practice like everything in life. Now, with the Internet we do not have to use our brains to access as much stored information as we did in the last hundred years on earth. I still enjoy the old shaman healer oracle training of the ancient mystery schools. I began the Ancient Mystery Schools in Hawaii in 1990 and taught psychic awakening classes. I of course continued my own psychic training. My training was investigations and security in business. I learned to apply my intuitive cognitive thinking skills to my investigations. Now, I entertain myself but have stopped doing personal readings due to the global scale of energy changes. Now, I have started the Ascension Center on the Internet and I train others through correspondence.
Wrapping our brain around information can be mentally exhaustive, and specially for college students. Please find below information and research created by various authors and researchers. I compiled the below excerpts and lists as just the tip of the iceberg. We have so much information that should be shared. This is a subject we should all research. This is some light reading for those interested in brushing up on one of my favorite topics that kids today “plug in”.
Dr. Michael Salla is an internationally recognized scholar in international politics, conflict resolution, US foreign policy and the new field of ‘exopolitics’. He is author/editor of five books. Michael Salla’s complete Biography and list of articles can be researched and read under author’s name here at http://www.AmericanChronicle.com. Dr. Salla is very intelligent and I recommend his research and books based on his articles on American Chronicle of which this information promotes excerpts of Dr. Salla and reference of others follows:
Global consciousness has shifted in ways that reflect a more integrated global community made possible by the communications infrastructure of the internet and cyber-communications. Science and the Akashic Field by Ervin Laszlo is good reading if one has an open mind. We can hope that the global community will adopt a more open forum for discussion regarding awareness, education, networking, and sharing information on the Internet.
The Internet has been a dramatic technological development that has made possible rapid changes in global consciousness. This change is unrivaled in human history and perhaps only the establishment of the printing press in the 15th century comes close to what is currently occurring. Dr. Michale Salla has provided us with information below on American Chronicle.
The idea that global consciousness can change and evolve is not new since this is something that Tielhard de Chardin proposed, and eventually got him into trouble with Catholic Church authorities. So if there have recently been some dramatic shifts in global consciousness, what might be driving this?
Greg Bradden has argued that human consciousness can indeed affect the larger environment. In his book, The Divine Matrix (2008), Bradden argues that a vast quantum energy field exists in the universe. Using a range of scientific sources, he concludes that the “Divine Matrix” is responsive to all life in the universe. This creates a complex feedback loop wherein individuals and the universe are interconnected, and can influence one another. What one thinks and feels at an individual level can and does influence larger external events. Bradden´s work firmly suggests that larger galactic phenomena such as solar activity can be influenced by individual and group thoughts. In short, global consciousness can influence sunspot activity.
For the first time since June 1913, there has been no sunspot activity for a whole month. The zero sunspot activity for August 2008 was preceded by an average of only three sunspots for the first seven months of the year. This low solar activity contrasts with the average of a hundred or so sunspots per month when the sun enters its more active phases.
Mitch Battros and other solar researchers have been arguing that we are witnessing the calm before the storm of what will be the most powerful solar cycle on record. Battros claims that Solar Cycle 24 will cause widespread earth changes and human disruption at an unprecedented scale that coincides with the end of the Mayan Calendar in 2012.
A Princeton University research project has shown that major global events impact on the ‘collective consciousness’ or noosphere. Key events such as the deaths of Princes Dianna and Mother Theresa, the 911 attack, major earthquakes and other significant international events have a measurable impact on global consciousness.
The idea that consciousness can alter physical reality is found in various mystical traditions such as the Hermetic principles that were practiced by the ancient Greeks. This idea was popularized by Fritjoff Capra who wrote the Tao of Physics in 1974.
Quantum physicists were discovering that the observer of sub-atomic behaviors was a factor in understanding the behavior of these particles. This realization opened the door to the idea that consciousness affects on the observed behavior of sub-atomic particles.
Going from the sub-atomic to the cellular level, biologist Dr Bruce Lipton found a direct causal relationship between changes in individual consciousness and the health of cells. In his best selling book, The Biology of Belief, Lipton describes how cells are like tiny television receivers waiting for environmental stimuli to program them. Among the key environmental programmers for our cells is our consciousness, which relays, through feelings and thoughts, how the cells are to behave. Lipton´s views have gained strong support among alternative health practitioners researching the mind-body connection.
Another researcher who has extensively reviewed a range of scientific sources, Lyn Mc Taggart, has also claimed that a universal quantum energy field exists which individuals can influence through consciousness. In her book, The Intention Experiment (2008), she claims that through positive intention, groups of individuals can influence their environments and change their lives. She has conducted a series of intention experiments that help verify that positive intention of groups of individuals focusing their thoughts on particular outcomes, can dramatically influence events around the globe. Again, her research leads firmly to the conclusion that a complex feedback loop exists between solar events and global consciousness. From sub-atomic particles and molecular particles to global events, we can conclude there is much scientific research pointing to human consciousness as a significant factor in influencing the external environment.
One answer provided by Mitch Battros is that global consciousness is being influenced by solar activity. Consequently, the highly active 23 solar cycle that end in July 2007, may have played a major role in the evolution of human consciousness. Solar Cycle 23 may have caused a rise in global consciousness by virtue of the fact that millions of individuals may have found themselves operating at a higher capacity. The net effect of heightened sunspot activity on human consciousness may have been a rise in global consciousness.
Another argument is that many have argued that the Earth and our solar system has entered a new region of the galaxy which makes possible a more evolved form of global consciousness. This has been referred to as the ‘photon belt’ and it has been argued to be a region that affects the frequencies of the Earth, the Sun and other planets in our solar system. Other theorists have argued that the plane of our solar system has come into alignment with the galactic core of the Milky Way thereby influencing global consciousness. All these may be factors driving changes in global consciousness, but the instrumental factor has been the growth in instantaneous global communications.
Evidence of a dramatic shift in global consciousness is the development of the internet and the global communications and cyber-communities this has spawned entities. More significantly, the internet has made it possible for communities to share information and take action. See below list for reader´s convenience…

I enjoy writing because as I share I grow new friends who share their knowledge and words of wisdom. We are separate and still one.

By Bret Buquest
In 1902, Dr. R. M. Burke wrote a book entitled COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS. According to Dr. Burke, human evolutionary development consists of three forms of consciousness.
1) Simple Consciousness — instinct
2) Self Consciousness — a self-awareness that an individual is a distinct entity
3) Cosmic Consciousness — a clear conception of the meaning of the universe
Cosmic consciousness, the apex of human evolution, is an absolute certainty that the cosmos is in fact a living presence. It’s a complete comprehension of “the whole” with an accompanying sense of immortality.
Carl Jung, the renowned Swiss psychiatrist, coined the term “Collective Unconscious” — in essence the same ethereal object as Cosmic Consciousness, except most people are unaware of its existence. He believed the Collective Unconscious to be part of the evolutionary process and shared by all people, but not all people are able to tap into it.
Jung called it the foundational structure of the personality on which the ego is built.
A project was initiated in 1998 at Princeton University in an attempt to prove the existence of what they called a Global Consciousness, another term for Cosmic Consciousness. The Global Consciousness Project (GCP) is an international effort set up to explore whether interconnected consciousness could be scientifically validated through objective measurement.
Research in this field started 40 years ago when a number of laboratory experiments demonstrated that human consciousness actually interacts with random event generators (REGs), causing them to produce non-random patterns.
In other words, thoughts were found to have the capacity to become actions that altered events.
Since electrical impulses transmitted between brain cells reflect patterns of activity that in turn generate consciousness, it then became a theoretical possibility that the same phenomena would be true for a global collective consciousness of the entire planet. Therefore, if individuals could create deviations from expected chance results simply through the thought process perhaps it could also be true on a global basis.
Dr. Roger Nelson, Director of Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research, a leading parapsychology institute, examined what happened to a REG when several people focused on a single event.
The results were impressive. Plus, the effects were clearly noticeable regardless of the generator’s location.
There are now 75 networked computers in over 50 countries worldwide feeding a probabilistically random series of digits to a host computer. The system searches for periods when the random number series become slightly non-random.
Major world events seem to trigger non-randomness in widely isolated global locations. For example, the 9/11 tragedy produced a massive spike of non-randomness in the entire system.
The implications are astonishing.
Each person is an individual entity with a distinct consciousness. But the combined consciousness of all of humanity also appears to be an individual entity.
All is one.
This collective consciousness has been tapped into many times. A mother in Boston senses her son in Phoenix has had an accident that later turns out to be true. A man knows his old Army buddy is about to call him just before the phone rings. A little girl finds her lost purse where a dead grandparent told her it would be. A boy has an urgent feeling about going to a function where he meets his future wife. It happens all the time.
If there truly is such a thing as a collective consciousness, we as a human species are all interconnected in a metaphysical or even spiritual sense. Our individual thoughts affect the collective subconscious of all of mankind.
Thoughts become deeds.
If the human race ever evolves beyond its present state of greed and transgression, our collective consciousness will become a collective benevolence and mankind will flourish.
Until then, the collective consciousness will remain a collective headache.

We are about the change in global consciousness. We each must do our part. There are probably better words and connections in sentences to explain this knowledge. I am not the best person to share truth as I understand it but I do have a message…..
By: Theresa J. Thurmond Morris
We are all here to explore, learn, and to experience life. We are here in sentient intelligent being form of matter to expand our awareness of senses that we can only experience while in physical form. We are all for one and one for all. This is something that can be explained with Science models once we decode the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the God particle. There are many new ways of thinking about science and spirit. There are people who are questioning our past and what we thought to be truth.
There are many ways to worship and these ways are what has separated our cultures in the past. Our ways of existence on earth are vast and we have spread our cultures and our belief systems through out time on earth. Some have been lost and some have been adapted over time. The information has changed. There are reasons that we record our stories. Some stories are about faith and worship.
We now will have changes occurring in the way we thought in the past. We will now learn that much of our history will be changing because we have more information and data. There is much to learn and relearn. There will be some retooling in more than our global consciousness.
There is a need for global consciousness and global change in what is important to this planet´s expansion and survival. We will be learning about new morals, ethics, and creating a new value system. We are ready for a new technological communication world of truth. Those who are not truthful will be judged.
We must now realize that while we are here in physical form that energy matters. We all matter. All matter matters. This is now part of the grand scheme of things and the solution to our problems. The truth is going to be more important than ever.
We will be allowing all beings to experience life in a better way in the future. Education will bring forth information to those who could not obtain it in the past because of a cast system or level of existence due to a cultural acceptance. Being poor is not a crime or a way to live. Being poor in the past meant doing jobs no other people wanted or would perform. The more intelligent and educated of course received the better jobs. This way of life applies to most countries and not just India. India is used as only an example.
The future in India for instance will change. The untouchables are not being schooled and educated for their future. This will change in time with other jobs offered to this former class of people. This is part of our global consciousness. There are people who will have to apply their mental capacity in order to excel. There are young people on earth in some of the poorer countries that are now receiving a better way of life. Much of what we share will be felt around the world. We are part of the change in global consciousness. All for one and one for all. We are all part of this world and are all part of one species. Those in charge of this world will have to offer food and freedom to all beings in the future.
Our mental awareness of energy is only one part of our existence. Most people are born with the same senses. Most of those born on earth are given the basic six senses. For those of you who need reminding, they are seeing, hearing, smelling, touching, tasting, and the sixth sense is feeling. Touching and feeling is not the same thing.
In addition, now because of the energy change in our galaxy, we are going to experience times that are more sensitive. People want to know what to expect. I say expect change. This is something that is constant in the universe. We are all changing and expanding in many ways.
There have been past entities and extra terrestrials who have come to earth in physical form as human beings. Some have been written about in our history in the Bible and Koran. There were many great people not written about. Some were written about but the stories were lost through time.
We treated these beings as prophets and leaders. There is history and stories in all countries about our leaders. Some of these were spiritual leaders. Some of these were called Kings, Queens, Gods and Goddesses. Jesus was simply a man to many who lived at the same time he walked the earth. To others he was a leader and a prophet. Jesus was a chosen leader of the extra terrestrials that some refer to as God or Yahweh.
There have been wars and rumors of wars since the beginning or recorded time on earth. This is part of the way we live on earth. There are Gods and extra terrestrial ways of living on earth that have been used to create these wars. There have been more wars fought over religion and beliefs than any other reason. There have been wars fought for land rights by people of geographic areas on earth. Most of the past civilizations and empires were about growth and change.
When we think about the energy and matter that is given to all of us on earth, it boils down to exploring and expanding our own energy and matter to include more. We experience life in many ways and at many levels.
More is better has always been the underlying philosophy of great leaders and their governments of civilizations. Energy feeds the needs and desires of beings in various ways. Some were imperialistic empire leaders.
We have still not learned that there is more than this need and desire for more. There is always a need for more of everything. Through time, we have wanted more. Human beings became greedy. We wanted more food, more shelter, more clothing, more people, and more things. In addition, even more charity for poor and impoverished.
We must all realize that more is better as long as we are all participating in the growth and expansion process. We must learn to take care of each other as we come to this planet until we return once again to our ascension beings immortal realm.
Those who exist now on earth have many levels of existing and thinking. We must realize that the old ways of thinking do not serve us any longer.
We realize that their energy can no longer survive in the vessel or physical body that was created for the energy we call spirit to exist so the spirit returns back to the soul. The soul is the actual energy mass that never expires and is immortal.
There are many ways to think and feel about our energy inside our physical bodies. There are many ways to realize our levels of consciousness. We have levels we now refer to as beta, alpha, theta, delta, and gamma. These levels do not necessarily relate to each other and are not necessarily conscious and aware of each other.
There are many parts of a soul. There are many levels of understanding based on past reincarnations of matter in this work and world and in others. This is not the only portal of life for existence in the physical and mental forms.
Our spirits are separate for a while in order for us to learn. We are all created with a DNA coding and this is what encases memory and what continues as knowledge after we leave earth. We receive 23 pairs of chromosomes from each of our parents. This gives us 46.
Our brain houses our mental capacity to retain the knowledge that we call memories which will leave with the energy we call electrical spirit. Some people say that our DNA is what gives us our casing our vessels while on earth. We do know that this is how we all begin on earth. But, what energy is applied into the matter. This is part of the God particle that we are searching for with the Large Hadron Collider. The God particle is the missing ingredient or so we may think. There are scientists who are making decisions for all of us. Again, this is part of the global consciousness. We study energy on earth as particles.
For many on earth, they have not had any reason to believe in the future of energy. Many people on earth do not realize that life goes on and is immortal. The new global consciousness is offering human beings a new way to exist and to be alive at this time.
Many ascension beings that are alive and well on planet earth have returned by choice. This was their calling and election made sure in another time and place that many beings call heaven or space.
How we begin to open, our awareness and our minds to other possibilities that have not been openly discussed before as real energy and matter other than in a spiritual and religious atmosphere is what would bring about change. We are to openly discuss and create new names, new knowledge, and new matter for all that we are discovering together. We are creating truth in all things for all things as energy in matter.
We are about the change in global consciousness. We each must do our part. There are probably better words and connections in sentences to explain this knowledge. I am not the best person to share truth as I understand it but I do have a message and as a communicator, I have agreed to share what I know regardless of the consequences that it may bring to my physical existence while here on earth. I made this choice. I chose to come to earth. I chose to live, die, and return.
We are all part of the global consciousness. We are all energy in matter. We all matter.
Too many thoughts in the head because one to get confused. This is because we are separate. We have the ability to reach the Akashic Field and the Unified Field of Origin.
Global Consciousness is part of being whole. Do what can be done to explore, learn, create, and experience being part of this team of sentient intelligent beings on earth. Congratulations on the continuance of your lifetime on earth with others. This includes me! Global Consciousness is now being revealed to others not just the Avatars and Ascension Beings. There is a gnosis revelation.
The world has many spiritual people who are not necessarily in one religion or another. There are no religions on earth, which are perfect.
There are parts of the truth in many places. Some truth is found in the Dead Sea Scrolls and other scrolls that were not included in the Bible. The future of science and religion will change. There are going to be new areas of study in the future. We are combining the will to learn with new beings coming to earth. The Large Hadron Collider will be part of their global consciousness. Those of us on earth who are still living will pass onto another existence. We all experience life and death for a reason.
Hope and faith is part of being alive on earth as a sentient intelligent being. Those who do not believe in a higher power will find out the truth in this life or the next one. They may not believe in life after death but there are those of us on earth that can share a testimony that there is life after death and one’s memories travel to the next level of existence.
The truth is out there for others to explore and use. Our lives are in jeopardy. We must face a dangerous enemy in order to protect our home world. We who remember our past and our destiny that are not of the human world will share what we know with those who will be recruited in the future.
This is part of the global consciousness now being revealed to others and not just to the chosen Ascension Beings. Some may be called of various faiths depending on from where they originated. We in global awareness will realize that rallying and supporting religions on earth is not the answer to salvation. Being spiritual and desiring to share our faith is fine.
We must share that we are aware that God is not located in the buildings we call churches. We have chosen to follow in our ancestors footsteps by honoring the past. We worship as we choose. We all are free to choose who and what to worship. Most of us all believe in a higher power on earth. We still choose to believe in a God. Some of us still believe in the almighty and claim “In God We Trust”. This should be allowed and accepted worldwide as simply a way and a choice.
One thing that our Superior Beings will favor is allowing for those who worship to be allowed to choose.
There are Buddhists that are choosing to worship and are close to God in the way that many are not aware. There are many names of God and the superior beings who are at a higher level of being than we are on earth recognize the intentions of those of us on earth above. There is a way to become aware of the truth. The truth will set us free. We should learn what is appropriate for us to know and learn before leaving earth. We should thank our past leaders who knew the truth. They saved our lives. There are beings on earth making decisions for all of us as a whole. Pay attention to those in charge of energy. This global consciousness is all for one and one for all. If that is hard to understand, refer to how the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will use energy to look for the God Particle.

Hello yogis and yoginis!
I am going to be traveling through Thailand, beginning in Bangkok and making my way North to Chiang Mai, then down again towards Malaysia beginning this coming Thursday, November 20.
Would anyone be interested in meeting up for some yoga or tea?
Or has anyone done a Thailand trip and have any suggestions for great places to stop and meditate or practice asana?
Namaste,
Erica

My father took me to my first yoga class when I was twelve or thirteen years old. I was a spindly and awkward kid, but I loved yoga from the start. At first, I appreciated the supportive, non-competitive nature of the class environment. Later, as I grew older, I began exploring different styles and philosophies of yoga and I was enchanted with its variety. Now that I am a busy adult, I appreciate my time on the mat as my time to connect my body, heart and mind with God. In the future, I hope to study the sutras and learn more of the philosophic aspects of yoga. I hope to incorporate more meditation practice too.
I had written an article a few months back on my experience with Yoga. Here it is ~
First Yoga and Then What?
We were leaning against a railing overlooking the market square in downtown Knoxville and I noticed the name of the building in front of us:
GRAND UNION
Melissa was calmly looking at the sky.
The word Yoga literally translates to “Union”. There are thousands of Yoga centers throughout the world with millions of Yoga students and none of them actually practices Yoga. Yoga cannot be practiced. What can be and is practiced in Yoga schools, are Yoga “Asanas,” “Pranayamas” and presence through meditation techniques. Once there is Yoga, all practices for attaining Yoga become redundant. This truth resonates in the slokas of the Bhagavat Gita when Lord Krishna states that; “When the whole country is flooded, reservoirs become redundant.” It is also the truth which resonates in the words of the great Master Jesus when he says “Before Abraham was I AM”. This I AM is Yoga.
The word “Asana” means a “Seat”. Through an asana (a posture or an exercise) a student prepares his/her body and the vitality as a clear and stable seat on which yoga, when it happens in an individual, can sit. The approach of Asana is through the structure of the body.
Pranayama originates from the word Prana meaning Vital Breath (Chinese Chi) and Yama referring to Life. One may note that certain yogic techniques associate the vibrations in pronouncing the word Yama with the heart center. Also according to Indian mythology Yama is depicted as the demigod in charge of death of an individual. Pranayama is a series of breathing exercises that prepares the body and vitality for recognition of yoga.
Meditation on presence on the other hand works on the mind directly, bypassing the body and the vitality. It makes the mind transparent and clear of emotional biases and conditioning. The recognition in meditation is the fact that the body and all its vital actions are controlled by the mind. Thus if the seat (asana) of the mind is clean and stable the body and the vital shall follow.
It seems that today the practice of Yoga has become another commodity in the world; another job. Many so called Yoga teachers derive their identity from their special job as a healer. The question a teacher may ask is “Does the caterpillar derive any identity from the fact that it is a potential butterfly?” The following emotional but wise quote from Hatha Yoga master, Vanda Scaravelli summarizes the context: “To be proud of our yoga positions is bad taste. To be able to do the poses successfully means nothing, nothing at all. Yoga should not become a circus. It must not be done as a refuge from life.”
Thousands of years ago, in the Indian subcontinent, methods were developed where experiments were conducted on reality, by individuals whose laboratory was nature, reagents were their bodies and analytical instruments were their minds. The observations from the experiments did not involve a machine. The conclusions from the experiments were reproducible by another individual who used similar principles as the structural method. The fundamental requirement for the experiments was one burning inquiry: “Who am I?” and then stepping back to silence for the answer.
On self realization, these individuals recognized the illusionary mental veil separating individual forms from each other and from the formless space. They realized that the quantum particle and the continuum wave are one when observed neutrally. From this realization of the fundamental reality, skills originated and technologies were developed. Since the roots of the above mentioned technologies and skills were already embedded in the fundamental realization of “Who I am”, their outcome was in harmony with the “I” and did not lead to a conflict. The basis of emergence of all skills and technology for these self realized individuals was attributed to “A complete withdrawal of all RESISTANCE to what IS.” In the words of these researchers this superconducting state of a human form is technically called “Samadhi”. An example of similar essence being resonated in modern physics is a recent article I read about superconductivity, titled:
“Resistance is Useless”.
In the state of “Samadhi”, that is in union with the Field of Consciousness , all manifested forms (I call Creation) that exists as possibilities in the Field, can be accessed. And then there is also the un-manifested Creation that exists as possibilities in the infinite void Space (I call The Source) which allows the Field to be. In Hindu philosophy the Field has been traditionally referred to as “Brahman”, the neutral individual observer who is united with the Field as “Aatman” and the infinite Space that allows the Field to be “The Divine Mother”.
The union of the Aatman and the Brahman is Yoga. The Mother is the divine mystery that can be experienced as:
That which cannot be known.
As I am typing these words, on my left, glued on the wooden door I can see a paper written in Bengali type, yellow with age, that claims to enlighten the reader with the synopsis of the sacred Hindu text of Bhawagat Gita. The simple words translate as “Whatever has happened is good. Whatever is happening is good. Whatever will happen is good. What have you lost, that you are lamenting? What did you bring with you that you have lost? What did you create that has been destroyed? Whatever you have taken, you took from here. What ever you have given you have given here. What you have today, yesterday it belonged to someone else. Tomorrow it shall belong to another. This too shall pass.”
What can I do but smile
I’ll be passing thru OR, northern CA, NV, CO, KS, NE, SD, and ND in the near future. I’d love to stop on the way for an informal yoga session
let me know if you’re available
i usually do vinyasa style yoga on my own time and am game to try anything. Also i’d love to learn some more partner poses. I’m fairly strong and quite happy and fun
can’t wait to be on the road
Peace

Hello,
I really appreciate in advance any advise that can be provided related to this topic….
I will arrive in South India on February 26th, 2009 from Kuala Lumpur. I would like to spend 1 month practicing Intensive Hatha Yoga ( NOT teacher training) at an Ashram as a first choice or a school as a second option.
The 2nd month (April-May 09)i would like to Volunteer specially working with orphans or street children and practice yoga in a less intensive way.
I have researched the internet and asking fellow travelers and friends around for the last 2 months about Yoga & Ashrams in India. I have also read lots of posts in http://www.indiamike.com, Couchsurfing groups, and the web pages of different ashrams and yoga schools in India.
I have sadly realized through my research that Yoga has been greatly comercialized, which might not be news for you, and it is not regarded by some schools/ashrams as a spiritual practice but more of a way to make money out of foreigners.
I do agree that people have to make a living, cover school/ashrams basic expenses, etc…but most of the places i have checked charge anything from 800 Euros to 2100 Euros for 1 month of class (NOT Teacher Training Program)…This is a huge amount of money (about 3-6 month salary in my country), it seems hard for me to believe this will cover basic needs considering that the ashram or school has at least 5 to 10 students paying this amount. Maybe i am ignorant about the costs of living in India or the result of my research so far is true.
The most accomodating option i could find is the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala that offers a 3 month Work-Study program for $600 but still, have had a lot of mixed opinions about this place, the big amount of students, the not so individualized teaching, more of a place people go to socialize & hook up, etc, etc….
This is going to be my first time in India and very much looking forward for this experience. I have saved a bit of money for the past 4 years of work, which i would not mind donating to the Ashram or School or either work in return for the money i am missing. I am open to any circumstance.
I would really appreciate if you could suggest an Ashram or School, a calm place where i can practice yoga, learn, grow and share along fellow students and teachers.
Again, thank you in advance for your responses & advise!
Blessings!
Andres

What is Iyengar Yoga?
by Meredith Watts
Iyengar yoga is the method of yoga practiced at the Milwaukee Yoga Center. Yoga in the Iyengar tradition follows the system developed by B. K. S. Iyengar, author of the classic text, Light on Yoga, and a teacher to thousands of modern yogis and innovator of a comprehensive set of techniques to make yoga accessible to virtually everyone.
His method adapts classic yoga postures (asanas) with the use of props (such as mats, blankets, blocks, belts, benches) to allow all students to get full benefit from the postures regardless of their level of conditioning or physical constraints. It is common to refer to Iyengar yoga as a way of distinguishing it from other teaching traditions, but Mr. Iyengar has often said that his is an authentic, traditional yoga that includes the eight
limbs of the ancient yoga tradition.
The Iyengar tradition acknowledges all eight limbs of the classical yoga system (from ethical values to meditation), it approaches them through the body, using physical postures and the development of breath control to promote the yoking of mind, body and spirit. It does not imply a particular religious or theological creed and is available to all practitioners regardless of their personal beliefs. Most practitioners believe that yoga increases their awareness, concentration and balance—qualities that enhance
their lives regardless of their specific beliefs.
What Distinguishes the Method?
Technique: Its emphasis on alignment and precision in physical postures (asanas).
Sequencing: The subtle ordering or asanas to produce specific effects on the body.
Timing: The amount of time spent in the postures, allowing maximum development of its effects The use of props or aids to adapt the postures to virtually all students, regardless of gender, age or physical capability.

Hello everyone!
Thank you Jason and Erik for starting this group!
My name is Eve, my CS handle is Sokolini.
I am a Photographer and a Musician.
My interests range far and wide.
I am particularly fascinated by Sculpture.
I also love film, dance, music, painting, fine woodwork, tapestry, chinese gardens and I think food can be art.
I collect old postcards.
Location:
U.S., northern New Mexico, mountains, high alpine forest, altitude 9000ft.
Introduction:
I have retreat/accommodations and sheltered outdoor and open air studio space available for those interested in exploring the unique light and varied topography here, as did Georgia O’Keefe, Ansel Adams, Ernst Blumschein and so many more who have gone before us – or for those that seek renewed inspiration and a place to decompress/retreat.
I would like to host an artist’s convergance/retreat and art show. I can accommodate up to 40 or more artists – and provide an outdoor exhibition space on my property. Ideal times for this would be in Sept, October, April, May, June.
How I can help connect to other artists:
I can be a catalyst for bringing you closer to artist here if that is your goal. I am 30 minutes from TAOS where 1 of every 6 people is a working artist. I am 90 minutes from SANTA FE the third largest art market in the U.S. and home to many artists: working and not.

Thankyou!!
Stuart Hampton.
I would come. I have always wanted an excuse to visit new mexico. Things i can share: the basics of the banjo =) and stained glass. I would love to gain insight on any other creative ideas or hobbies others would be willing to share. That is so great of you to offer up your place!!
For a collarboarative art project.. off the top of my head it would be fun to design a labyrinth and put art work created there into the design. Would be a fun creative, healing project.
candice
I would love to join this gathering. When I’m collaborating with others, I tend to be very creatively spontaneous. I am a visual artist, I like working with natural/found objects for projects such as this, from what I gather, it would be installation. I am going to Portugal for July – Aug. and obligations would keep me here until then, so October? If it doesn’t work out for me, that’s ok, I hope everyone has fun.
Peace,
Freeda B.
That’s a great idea.. I would love to come. I hope it is an annual event so that if not in 2009, 2010.
I can teach how to non cook.. like some raw food recipes.. not raw meat like chicken or steak but uncooked fruits and vegetables.
I can possibly teach, if I will bring the right equipment some indoor studio lighting for photography.
I would like to learn painting and welding.
I put my good art ideas into a journal and when I get to NM I will see if anyone is interested in collaborating with any ideas from my journal entries.. will keep a collaboration in mind.
I love the idea of making a labyrinth. I have helped make a labyrinth and it was a sacred ceremony while we were in the act.. We even had a swami help with bringing in the energy…

Non Profit Artist Colony on the West Coast
Posted November 4th, 2008 – 10:38 pm by John Delp from Seattle, United States (Permalink)
Hello folks! I’m writing to tell you about my plans, and to see if anyone might have valuable information for me!
The Mellish Colony!
I’m working to set up an inter-disciplinary artist retreat in Idaho. I will be able to offer free residencies of 1-2 months to artists of all different mediums. They will be housed, fed and left with nothing between themselves and the completion of whatever their project may be. A huge part of the concept involves interdisciplinary communication. It’s always been my belief that art feeds on art, and when you are surrounded by creative, productive people, especially those who are creative in ways different than your own, new ideas flourish. This is why there will be large, communal dinners and showcases for the artists in residence to share their work and ideas, bounce ideas around and become inspired by others.
I’m very close to becoming incorporated as a 501(c)3 non profit, and currently scoping out some promising looking properties. From there I will go on to developing the land, building studios getting ready to start hosting. My goal is to be housing artists within two years.
Excited? I am!
As you all, I believe, share my vision of an artistic community, I’m wondering if anyone might be able to share some knowledge regarding running a non profit, fund raising, land development, renewable energy sources, green building materials, and anything you think might be helpful in the fulfillment on this plan. Maybe you just want to share in my excitement, or tell me what you would want in a residency program? Either way, I would love any input! If you happen to be in or around Seattle, I would gladly buy you a series of drinks in exchange!
Thanks everyone! Yay!
-John Delp
Couch Available: Maybe
Preferred Gender: Any
Max Surfers Per Night: 4
Shared Sleeping Surface: No
Shared Room: No
There is a sofa in the living room that pulls out into a bed which can fit two people very comfortably, and has, in the past, held up to four. Beyond that, there are some big pillows that can be put on the floor and I have a queen sized bed which I don’t mind sharing if the house is crowded. The backyard is large and could accomodate a tent or five. I have some blankets, pillows and sleeping bags.
Seattle is a beautiful city loaded with good music, art, food and culture. There are fantastic bars and coffee shops, lakes to swim in, museums and galleries to see and, most importantly, people to meet. I live with one roommate and two cats in Georgetown, on the more diverse, bohemian south side of the city, which is home to the best bar in town, a fantastic brewery, some gigantic cowboy boots and a bunch of artists, musicians, welders, carpenters and all around creative, unbathed types.
I recently acquired a new roommate to help with my rent, and while she’s so far been receptive to the couchsurfing philosophy and constant stream of guests, I don’t want to push it too far or make her uncomfortable in her new home. I’m still hosting people, but I’m throttling back on how many and how constantly. Still, don’t hesitate to ask.
Our public transportation is good, and there are plenty land marks to take your picture next to if you’re into that kind of thing. A short trip from Rat City can take you into the Cascades, out onto the islands, the Olympic Peninsula, Portland, Oregon or Vancouver, BC.

Share your art
Posted October 15th, 2008 – 4:02 pm by Phillipe Bojorquez from Salt Lake City, United States (Permalink)
Not all of us shared links to our artwork in the introductory thread. I would love to see what everyone does.
My illustrations can be found here:
flickr.com/photos/philart1/page8/
I tend to scan most of my pictures i have drawn because i like on aspect of it if not the whole thing. THinking that later i will go back and mine the pictures for the right parts and create something in photoshop but i never get that far. there are always new pictures to drawn and new horizons to explore.
this one is one of my favorites, that i plan on at some point blowing up on canvas and painting it basic yet whimsical hues.
Hey
Im not sure if i have put a link up. off my stuff yet. but so ill put it up again.
Also I have just put up some more photos if u wanna look at some of my photos and things.

If you even come to hungary, I can recommend a few tea house places.
Unfortunately, some smaller ones are closing down but there are always the more popular and of course less cheap ones.

Looking to import english tea to Guatemala, Central America
We are looking on placing the first Tea Shop in Guatemala.

Anyone coming to Guatemala that we can do business?
Check out http://www.bristolteashop.741.com (still under construction)

Good Day everyone,
So for anyone who lives in NY…. I just moved here about 2.5 months ago and while I know this city has allot of studios, gyms, and meditation centers. I was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend a few to check out.
Any style is open for suggestion since I would like to experience many different kinds before deciding which is right for me.
Thank You

Mr. Pitchford’s classic bible on modern nutrition
Paul Pitchford’s Healing with Whole Foods integrates Asian medicine with modern nutrition in a way unlike no other book. It’s the definitive bible on modern nutrition. You can pick it up at your local Whole Foods and many book stores. The Chinese way of healing through nutrition goes way back and this book convinced me that their system is superior to any other. Though Mr. Pitchford at times take his view to somewhat of an extreme, from a meat and dairy consumption point of view (I eat a lot of both meat and dairy), the book is never compromised in its practical applicability, relevancy, in-depth analysis, and exhaustive discussions of nutrition and the power of whole foods to regenerate your life completely.
My oldest is reading the book – no death, no fear by Thich Nhat Hanh and I found one passage especially touched me and I wanted to share it with you.
Angels Everywhere
Looking deeply into the dimension of space, we will also see all the enlightened beings. All the great beings, the Bodhisattvas. We will see God. Lood hard and you will see Bodhisattvas everywhere. You will see men and women who have compassion and who do everything they canto help and protect humanity. In Plum Village we practice evoking the names of Bodhisattvas such as Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of deep listening; Samantabhadra, the bodhisattva of great action; Manjushri, the bodhisattva of great understanding; Kshitigarbha, the bodhisattva who always goes to the darkets places, where suffering is unbearable, to help all people.
These are the bodhisattvas we know about because thier stories have been passed down to us. There are also countless unknown bodhisattvas everywhere whose work expresses their love, compassion and deep commitment to the world. Their hearts are full of love, and they are not interested in consuming many things. They want to live a simply in order to have time and energy to support others. They are everywhere. I know a bodhisattva who lives in Holland. Her name is Hebe. During WWII she helped twenty thousand Jews escape the Holocaust. I do not know how she did it. Looking at her you see that she is very small and only has two hands. I met her and worked with her and she was helping with Vietnamesee war orphans.
There are also bodhisattvas who do not seem to be very active, but they are very calm and kind and their presence inspires us with love, understanding and tolerance.
There are countless bodhisattvas like that in the world. We should liive so that we have time to recognize and touch their presence. Bodhisattvas are not gods or figures from the past. They are living around you in flesh and blood. They have much energy, understanding and compassion, and we can benefit from being near them.
Great Beings, bodhisattvas, cannot be recognized by their out appearance. Sometimes they are small children who bring us much joy. Our own children and our own friends are bodhisattvas. Sometimes they make us suffer, but they also help us to grow in love and understanding.
The bodhisattvas never grow weary of the suffering around them and never give up. They are the ones who give us courage to live. Kshitigarbha, who goes into the darkest places to help all beings, is not just one person. He has so many manifestations in all the different hell realms, which we can find right in this world.
Sadaparibhuta, the bodhisattva who says, “I woulds never dare to despise anyone,” is also everywhere. Even if someoen des not seem to have the ability to be awakened, he sees that within everyone there is that capacity. Sadaparibhuta helps everyone to have self-confidence and remove any feelings of inferiority. This kind of complex paralyzes people. Sadaparidhuta’s specialty is to be in touch with and water teh seeds of the awakened mind or the mind of love in us. This bodhisattva is not just a person in the Lotus Sutra but can be fond right here in our society in many different guises. We have to recognize the bodhisattva Sadaparibhuta, who is around us in flesh and bones.
Manjushri is the bodhisattva who has understanding – someone who can understand us makes us infinitely happier. Manjushri is able to see our suffereing and our difficulties and never blames or punishes us. He is always beside us to encourage us and shine light on us. Manjushri is not a legendary figure but is present around us in many guises, sometimes as a younger sister or brother or nephew or niece.
We do not worship imagine or mythological figures. Bodhisattvas are not figures from the past living up in the clouds. The bodhisattva are real people who are filled with love and determination. When we can understand someone else’s suffering and feel love for him/her, we are in touch with the bodhisattva of understanding.
The bodhisattva of deep listening, Avalokiteshvara, is also around us. Phychotherapist have to learn the art of listening deeply as bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, the one who looks deeply with her ears. When we can listen deeply to our children or our parents, Avalokiteshvara is already in our hearts.
The bodhisattva of wonderful sound, Gadgadashvara, can use music, writings and sound to awaken people. If you are a poet, a writer or composer you can be that bodhisattva. your artistic creations are not just to help people forget their pain momentarily but to water the seeds of awakened understanding and compassion in others. Among us are many writers, poets and composers who are using the wonderful ocean of sound to serve the way of understanding and love by making the dharma doors, which the Buddha taught, more accessible. That is the meaning of one of the aspirations of Samantabhadra:
I aspire to use the Great ocean of Sound,
Giving rise to words of wonderful effect,
That praises the Buddha’s oceans of virtues,
In the past, the present and the future.
When you touch the earth you connect with the great beings because they are part of the earth and part of you. Living in today’s world, it is easy to become the victim of despair. You must protect yourself. The best way is to be in touch with the bodhisattva that are active in compassion and love.
We should be in touch with Buddhas and bodhisattva here today, in the present moment, and not just light incense and pray to them. When we are truly in touch with them we have much energy by seeing that they are in us and that we are their continuation, not only in time but also in space. We are one of the arms of these bodhisattvas. Our arm can stretch very far, over thousands of miles. Our arms can reach the darkest places on Earth. We have friends everywhere who are our arms, and we can be their arms also.
“Awakened understanding is the practitioner’s only career” is a quotation from the sutra onthe Eight Realizations of Great Beings. All other careers are not really worth following. No honors or fame can be compared with teh awakened understanding that we have when we practice stopping and looking deeply into the nature of tings. When through understanding we cease to be angry, we are already manifesting the see of the great understating from within us. Let us live insuch a way that bodhisattva may manifest within us.
Let us be the bodhisattva right now by the way we speak and act. Do not think tha tyou will be a bodhisattva later on this evening. Evoking the names of the bodhisattvas of deep listening, great understanding, great action and great aspiration and being in touch with the qualities of those bodhisattvas will give us the infinite energy we need to embrace beings who are suffering in the world.

I put up any kind of video I can think of to get people’s attention. If you don’t think sex, religion and politics go hand in hand I hope this websites offends you as much as possible because you’ll scream and puff yourselves telling more people not to come here, which in turn will bring more people anyways. Anyone who knows Jenna Jameson, please put the word out that we have been trying to contact her. We would love to have her bring some of her movies to our jungle where they can have sex next to monkeys. I mean that.
Jack’s Place is a commune in the peace capital of Sri Lanka. Every year there is a peace walk from the North of Sri Lanka to Kataragama with over 30,000 pilgrims and 100,000 people that come to party for two weeks. Here Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam thrive together praying next to each other and followers participate in the Perihara festival together each year before the full moon. Two weeks of a fire festival followed by one day of water.

But if you really want to understand what other people are telling you,
you just have to hear them. Clear your mind for a moment, open some
space for new thoughts. The youth is revolting because they want to live.
With every last one of the meanings of the word “life”. They want to live
freely, they want space to create, to emancipate themselves, to play.
They don’t want to spend their adolescence in 12 hour days of school and
extra courses, their first adult years in the pointless chase of a university
degree, the passport to a glorious 800 euro – 48 hours a week job in a
boring office. They don’t want to be dependent on their families in order
to start a family of their own. And honestly, they don’t even care about
starting a family. Bored of “having fun” in video games cafes, clubs,
stadiums, shopping malls and commercial concerts. They are not jealous
of “normality” and do no seek it. On the contrary, they see this “promise”
of normality getting even worse: the school even more exhausting, the
hideous job getting even more hideous, the university starting to
resemble the school. And marriage looking like a sentence to prison.
This is parallel to an interesting essay by Chris Hedges discussing the breakdown by implosion of the unquestioned school to job to grave
route.
Quote:
The Best and the Brightest Led America Off a Cliff
By Chris Hedges
The multiple failures that beset the country, from our mismanaged economy to our shredded constitutional rights to our lack of universal health care to our imperial debacles in the Middle East, can be laid at the feet of our elite universities. Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Stanford, along with most other elite schools, do a poor job educating students to think. They focus instead, through the filter of standardized tests, enrichment activities, advanced placement classes, high-priced tutors, swanky private schools and blind deference to all authority, on creating hordes of competent systems managers. The collapse of the country runs in a direct line from the manicured quadrangles and halls in places like Cambridge, Princeton and New Haven to the financial and political centers of power.
The nation’s elite universities disdain honest intellectual inquiry, which is by its nature distrustful of authority, fiercely independent and often subversive. They organize learning around minutely specialized disciplines, narrow answers and rigid structures that are designed to produce certain answers. The established corporate hierarchies these institutions service—economic, political and social—come with clear parameters, such as the primacy of an unfettered free market, and with a highly specialized vocabulary. This vocabulary, a sign of the “specialist” and of course the elitist, thwarts universal understanding. It keeps the uninitiated from asking unpleasant questions. It destroys the search for the common good. It dices disciplines, faculty, students and finally experts into tiny, specialized fragments. It allows students and faculty to retreat into these self-imposed fiefdoms and neglect the most pressing moral, political and cultural questions. Those who defy the system—people like Ralph Nader—are branded as irrational and irrelevant. These elite universities have banished self-criticism. They refuse to question a self-justifying system. Organization, technology, self-advancement and information systems are the only things that matter.
“Political silence, total silence,” said Chris Hebdon, a Berkeley undergraduate. He went on to describe how various student groups gather at Sproul Plaza, the center of student activity at the University of California, Berkeley. These groups set up tables to recruit and inform other students, a practice know as “tabling.”
“Students table for Darfur, no one tables for Iraq. Tables on Sproul Plaza are ethnically fragmented, explicitly pre-professional (The Asian American Pre-Law or Business or Pre-Medicine Association). Never have I seen a table on globalization or corporatization. Students are as distracted and specialized and atomized as most of their professors. It’s vertical integration gone cultural. And never, never is it cutting-edge. Berkeley loves the slogan ‘excellence through diversity,’ which is a farce of course if one checks our admissions stats (most years we have only one or two entering Native Americans), but few recognize multiculturalism’s silent partner—fragmentation into little markets. Our Sproul Plaza shows that so well—the same place Mario Savio once stood on top a police car is filled with tens of tables for the pre-corporate, the ethnic, the useless cynics, the recreational groups, etc.”
I sat a few months ago with a former classmate from Harvard Divinity School who is now a theology professor. When I asked her what she was teaching, she unleashed a torrent of obscure academic code words. I did not understand, even with three years of seminary, what she was talking about. You can see this absurd retreat into specialized, impenetrable verbal enclaves in every graduate department across the country. The more these universities churn out these stunted men and women, the more we are flooded with a peculiar breed of specialist. This specialist blindly services tiny parts of a corporate power structure he or she has never been taught to question and looks down on the rest of us with thinly veiled contempt.
I was sent to boarding school on a scholarship at the age of 10. By the time I had finished eight years in New England prep schools and another eight at Colgate and Harvard, I had a pretty good understanding of the game. I have also taught at Columbia, New York University and Princeton. These institutions, no matter how mediocre you are, feed students with the comforting self-delusion that they are there because they are not only the best but they deserve the best. You can see this attitude on display in every word uttered by George W. Bush. Here is a man with severely limited intellectual capacity and no moral core. He, along with “Scooter” Libby, who attended my boarding school and went on to Yale, is an example of the legions of self-centered mediocrities churned out by places like Andover, Yale and Harvard. Bush was, like the rest of his caste, propelled forward by his money and his connections. That is the real purpose of these well-endowed schools—to perpetuate their own.
“There’s a certain kind of student at these schools who falls in love with the mystique and prestige of his own education,” said Elyse Graham, whom I taught at Princeton and who is now doing graduate work at Yale. “This is the guy who treats his time at Princeton as a scavenger hunt for Princetoniana and Princeton nostalgia: How many famous professors can I collect? And so on. And he comes away not only with all these props for his sense of being elect, but also with the smoothness that seems to indicate wide learning; college socializes you, so you learn to present even trite ideas well.”
These institutions cater to their students like high-end resorts. My prep school—remember this is a high school—recently built a $26-million gym. Not that it didn’t have a gym. It had a fine one with an Olympic pool. But it needed to upgrade its facilities to compete for the elite boys and girls being wooed by other schools. While public schools crumble, while public universities are slashed and degraded, while these elite institutions become unaffordable even for the middle class, the privileged retreat further into their opulent gated communities. Harvard lost $8 billion of its endowment over the past four months, which raises the question of how smart these people are, but it still has $30 billion. Schools like Yale, Stanford and Princeton are not far behind. Those on the inside are told they are there because they are better than others. Most believe it.
The people I loved most, my working-class family in Maine, did not go to college. They were plumbers, post office clerks and mill workers. Most of the men were military veterans. They lived frugal and hard lives. They were indulgent of my incessant book reading and incompetence with tools, even my distaste for deer hunting, and they were a steady reminder that just because I had been blessed with an opportunity that was denied to them, I was not better or more intelligent. If you are poor you have to work after high school or, in the case of my grandfather, before you are able to finish high school. College is not an option. No one takes care of you. You have to do that for yourself. This is the most important difference between them and the elites.
The elite schools, which trumpet their diversity, base this diversity on race and ethnicity, rarely on class. The admissions process, as well as the staggering tuition costs, precludes most of the poor and working class. When my son got his SAT scores back last year, we were surprised to find that his critical reading score was lower than his math score. He dislikes math. He is an avid and perceptive reader. And so we did what many educated, middle-class families do. We hired an expensive tutor from The Princeton Review who taught him the tricks and techniques of taking standardized tests. The tutor told him things like “stop thinking about whether the passage is true. You are wasting test time thinking about the ideas. Just spit back what they tell you.” His reading score went up 130 points. Was he smarter? Was he a better reader? Did he become more intelligent? Is reading and answering multiple-choice questions while someone holds a stopwatch over you even an effective measure of intelligence? What about those families that do not have a few thousand dollars to hire a tutor? What chance do they have?
These universities, because of their incessant reliance on standardized tests and the demand for perfect grades, fill their classrooms with large numbers of drones. I have taught gifted and engaged students who used these institutions to expand the life of the mind, who asked the big questions and who cherished what these schools had to offer. But they were always a marginalized and dispirited minority. The bulk of their classmates, most of whom headed off to Wall Street or corporate firms when they graduated, starting at $120,000 a year, did prodigious amounts of work and faithfully regurgitated information. They received perfect grades in both tedious, boring classes and stimulating ones, not that they could tell the difference. They may have known the plot and salient details of Joseph Conrad’s “Heart of Darkness,” but they were unable to tell you why the story was important. Their professors, fearful of being branded political and not wanting to upset the legions of wealthy donors and administrative overlords who rule such institutions, did not draw the obvious parallels with Iraq and American empire. They did not use Conrad’s story, as it was meant to be used, to examine our own imperial darkness. And so, even in the anemic world of liberal arts, what is taught exists in a moral void.
“The existence of multiple forms of intelligence has become a commonplace, but however much elite universities like to sprinkle their incoming classes with a few actors or violinists, they select for and develop one form of intelligence: the analytic,” William Deresiewicz, who taught English at Yale, wrote in “The American Scholar.” “While this is broadly true of all universities, elite schools, precisely because their students (and faculty, and administrators) possess this one form of intelligence to such a high degree, are more apt to ignore the value of others. One naturally prizes what one most possesses and what most makes for one’s advantages. But social intelligence and emotional intelligence and creative ability, to name just three other forms, are not distributed preferentially among the educational elite.”
Intelligence is morally neutral. It is no more virtuous than athletic prowess. It can be used to further the rape of the working class by corporations and the mechanisms of repression and war, or it can be used to fight these forces. But if you determine worth by wealth, as these institutions invariably do, then fighting the system is inherently devalued. The unstated ethic of these elite institutions is to make as much money as you can to sustain the elitist system. College presidents are not voices for the common good and the protection of intellectual integrity, but obsequious fundraisers. They shower honorary degrees and trusteeships on hedge fund managers and Wall Street titans whose lives are usually examples of moral squalor and unchecked greed. The message to the students is clear. But grabbing what you can, as John Ruskin said, isn’t any less wicked when you grab it with the power of your brains than with the power of your fists.
Most of these students are afraid to take risks. They cower before authority. They have been taught from a young age by zealous parents, schools and institutional authorities what constitutes failure and success. They are socialized to obey. They obsess over grades and seek to please professors, even if what their professors teach is fatuous. The point is to get ahead. Challenging authority is not a career advancer. Freshmen arrive on elite campuses and begin to network their way into the elite eating clubs, test into the elite academic programs and lobby for elite summer internships. By the time they graduate they are superbly conditioned to work 10 or 12 hours a day electronically moving large sums of money around.
“The system forgot to teach them, along the way to the prestige admissions and the lucrative jobs, that the most important achievements can’t be measured by a letter or a number or a name,” Deresiewicz wrote. “It forgot that the true purpose of education is to make minds, not careers.”
“Only a small minority have seen their education as part of a larger intellectual journey, have approached the work of the mind with a pilgrim soul,” he went on. “These few have tended to feel like freaks, not least because they get so little support from the university itself. Places like Yale, as one of them put it to me, are not conducive to searchers. Places like Yale are simply not set up to help students ask the big questions. I don’t think there ever was a golden age of intellectualism in the American university, but in the 19th century students might at least have had a chance to hear such questions raised in chapel or in the literary societies and debating clubs that flourished on campus.”
Barack Obama is a product of this elitist system. So are his degree-laden Cabinet members. They come out of Harvard, Yale, Wellesley and Princeton. Their friends and classmates made huge fortunes on Wall Street and in powerful law firms. They go to the same class reunions. They belong to the same clubs. They speak the same easy language of privilege and comfort and entitlement. They are endowed with an unbridled self-confidence and blind belief in a decaying political and financial system that has nurtured and empowered them.
These elites, and the corporate system they serve, have ruined the country. These elite cannot solve our problems. They have been trained to find “solutions,” such as the trillion-dollar bailout of banks and financial firms, that sustain the system. They will feed the beast until it dies. Don’t expect them to save us. They don’t know how. And when it all collapses, when our rotten financial system with its trillions in worthless assets implodes and our imperial wars end in humiliation and defeat, they will be exposed as being as helpless, and as stupid, as the rest of us.

I would be very interested in discussing all of this with you. When time permits, let me know when you would have time to discuss. We could meet down town Santa Cruz, or in my office in the Old Sash Mill. Let me know what would be convenient.

have come a bit closer to that vision by launching a brand new multi-channel SikhNet Radio service that allows Gurdwaras around the world to broadcast their daily Kirtan program live on the internet. We have already added live broadcast streams from six Gurdwaras in India, Canada, and the USA. So any time of the day or night you can tune into Kirtan that is happening live somewhere in the world! In addition to the live Gurdwara broadcasts we have also just added two additional new SikhNet Radio channels: “Western / Non Traditional” and “Classical Raag.”These new channels are now broadcasting alongside the original SikhNet Radio “channel”.
Our goal is to create a network where you can watch or listen to Gurbani Kirtan live, in real-time from Gurdwaras all over the world. Each Gurdwara becomes a “Channel” (Like a TV Channel) on the SikhNet Radio Network, and will be featured on SikhNet.com, so thousands of people can listen in from all over.
Do You Want to Join the SikhNet Radio Network and broadcast your local Gurdwara live on the internet? For a limited time we are accepting new Gurdwaras for the live broadcast. View more details
NEW! Live video broadcasts from Bangla Sahib, Sis Ganj Sahib and Siri Harimandir Sahib
NEW! SikhNet Browser Toolbar – Listen to SikhNet Radio channels and keep up to date with SikhNet.
I own my own Graphic Design Company straight out of school and I am currently backpacking South America for 5 months and will continue to travel a continent at a time for 6-12 months every other year or so for as long as I can travel. I also took 6 weeks to volunteer in vanuatu in 2006. Let me know if I can be of any help.

To you, is it a bliss to meditatively write and move spirit/consciousness of the audience? Do you love to focus on subjects such as films/media, consciousness, culture/society, identity ? Do you write in the style where profundity meets simplicity of expression? Our wish is to adopt a voice that is: Mature, Noble, Pragmatic, Frank, Fearless, Fresh; truth-seeking, expansive & inclusive, sharp-focused, thoughtful & sensitive holding compassionate viewpoint of humanity and disparate cultures.

1. NBA supports Poetry!?
2. Sedona wins 2008 Arizona Poetry Slam!
A. This is HUGE and I need your help!
I normally do poetry but I entered this hiphop contest and out of over 40,000 artists on the site, I made the Top 5! The winner’s song becomes the 2009 NBA Theme song for the Jazz! Plus, the winner gets $5000, which is EXACTLY the amount I put in my mind when I started the Traveling Poet concept. I told myself: I’ll need at least $5,000 before I go on this tour’ . The power of manifestation is amazing!
But I can’t win without the community’s support. ONE Minute of your time can change my life. Please go to http://www.VoteForApollo.com and follow the instructions. It would mean the world to me! And please send a quick email to all of your friends asking them to do the same. It is deeply appreciated
Namaste
2. A few days ago, the 3rd PoExplosion Poetry Event was hosted at William Eaton’s amazing theater in Cottonwood, with the help of Richard Hazen (D’Lish) and Christopher Fox Graham
It was Phoenix, Flagstaff, Mesa, Tucson, and Sedona. Each team send their 4 best poets to compete.
Now I haven’t entered a slam in a LONG time, but felt that this was a great event with a lot of friends, and there was definitely a lot of love in the room.
Sedona, which is not exactly known as a ’slam town’, ended up winning first place. Go Sedona!
You can watch my performance at: http://www.VoteForApollo.com (and then go vote!) haha
The Traveling Poet is really taking on a life of it’s own and I’m completely humbled at what’s been happening. I thank you all for your love and support. I’m really just holding on for the ride during this amazing channeling transition. There are lots of big announcements coming soon! Thank you so much for everything.

The undersigned are US citizens that believe that the official story of events of 9-11 at the Twin Towers is not accurate. As signers we believe that the deaths of nearly 3,000 innocent people in what has been termed a collapse has not yet seen a proper due process investigation of collapse. Based on the following information we have good reason to believe that FEMA misrepresented the building design and construction to official investigation and the public.
We the undersigned request all those whom this petition is addressed to, to consider that the information of Christopher A. Brown is substantiated by verifiable evidence and to please re-instate his posting privilige if operating a internet forum or, if of the named personalities or organizations, to please provide comment upon the evidence assembled for the steel reinforced cast concrete tubular core, (http://algoxy.com/conc/core.html) and provide evidence from 9-11 images which shows the steel core columns that FEMA claims existed in the core area.
The undersigned request is based upon the fact that FEMA never provided the plans of the Twin towers to NIST, who was supposed to be conducting an ****ysis of collapse. From available information it can be determined that NIST only had a verbal description or diagram of the Towers design and structure. There is information that 3 people perhaps were allowed to see the plans but had to provide a written statement of confidentiality. If they exist, their identities are unknown. It is common knowledge that an ****ysis of a building which has collapsed cannot be conducted without the plans and designs of that building.
It can be shown that the ex NYC mayor took the WTC documents from NYC city offices and courts will not uphold the FOIA and force a return of the plans to public offices for public buildings. http://web.archive.org/web/20020224015919/http://www.nyclu.org/g_archive020602.html
The lead engineer provides information shared through a September 13, 2001 Newsweek article identifying a concrete core.
http://web.archive.org/web/20040807085840/http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3069641/
Evidence of images from 9-11 exist which shows the structural description provided to NIST is inaccurate and that the Twin Towers did not have multiple, load bearing steel core columns inside the core area. Evidence shows that the towers had a steel reinforced cast concrete, rectangular, tubular core. http://algoxy.com/conc/core.html
There is evidence that buildings plans for WTC 1, “leaked” from Silverstein and Associates to Steven Jones have been altered or faked to appear as final drawings when they were actually preliminary drawings. http://algoxy.com/psych/whatis9-11Disinfo_fakeplan.html
Reasonably, the near free fall speed of the buildings descent and the complete reduction of everything in them to near particle size, are factors that can be investigated with an understanding of the Towers structure. Reasonably and legally the undersigned cannot affirm that due process has been served or that the laws of the nation have been adhered to if this issue of the design of the Towers core structure is not resolved. The undersigned understand that Christopher A. Brown has information providing direct substanciation that the public and official entities have been decieved and should therefore be allowed in all forums and that the direct substanciation be addressed by other 9-11 investigators who claim to be proponents of seeking the truth of 9-11.
Dot com message boards have aspects similar to private property and owners believe that free speech does not exist on their message boards. They are placing freedom of commercial enterprise over the publics need to easily communicate and share information that is needed to preserve the republic and the democracy and believe that such use is Constitutionally protected. The undersigned understand that the Constitution would not protect an environment of speech that could not be used to protect the Constitution when there is no other easily and freely available to discuss issues honestly and openly on the scale needed and therefore make this request on that point of principle.

g’day lovelies,
i leave canada in 3 months to move to europe for a year or two. i love cats. as you may be able to tell..
anyways, i plan to move to dublin but spend most of my time travelling around europe again. hitching mostly.
anyways, last time i travelled i did it alone and wished i had a cat with me. i met a few travellers who took their dogs and cats along with them and they didnt seem to mind.
i know that cats hate travelling, but i’m wondering if i bought it as a kitten and raised it to travel if it would be different?
what do you guys think?
xoxo
2 hour parking, a project of creating a beautiful green space for 2 hours in an asphalt-wasted urban area. coming back to the suburbs after a long visit to the city makes the need for green relaxation space ever more apparent. if i were a city planning officer, i would certainly make this a part of parking lots everywhere.
see the site for more details…
if you know of any similar projects or are inspired to create your own, please email me. rejectcarp AT gmail DOT com . i’d love to do a follow-up piece. thanks!

Howdy All:
Usually, if someone tells you to go jump in a lake or to take a long walk off a short pier, it’s neither a friendly suggestion nor taken literally. Right about now, if someone said that to me, my response would be, “you don’t have to tell me twice.” It’s too damn hot to be sitting at this computer so I’m going to keep things real businesslike, get in and get out, and take a flying leap into Lake Whatcom.
(Subliminal message: The Nightlight Lounge has AIR CONDITIONING!)
FRIDAY (JULY 31) – I have been waiting to say this for a long, long time. Tomorrow night, The Nightlight Lounge is honored to welcome THE RZA to our humble stage. THE RZA!!! There is no more important, influential, talented, creative, visionary and genre-defining hip hop artist over the last 20 years than THE RZA. Period. PERIOD! Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but, if you don’t agree, then in my opinion your opinion is wrong. And you should go jump in a lake. In February. In Siberia. I mean it. THE RZA is as good as it gets. Don’t miss this show. 20 bucks at the door (at The Nightlight Lounge).
FRIDAY (JULY 31) – Friday night also brings the second installment in the NIGHTLIGHT PRESENTS series of shows – QUINTRON AND MISS PUSSYCAT – at BOUNDARY BAY BREWERY. Because I couldn’t possibly describe these performers any better than a recent Kicked Out magazine article:
Mr. QUINTRON is a nightclub organist from New Orleans who plays “Swamp Tech” music. Irresistibly raw drum machine beats and his patented Drum Buddy, a rotating, light-activated synthesizer he plays like a DJ spins and scratches records, complements his custom Hammond / Rhodes combo organ to create driving, hypnotic Sixties dance music.
Quintron’s collaborator is puppeteer, MISS PUSSYCAT who also plays maracas, sings, and puts on highly amusing technicolor puppet shows. Quintron aids in puppet manipulation and voicing. The Quintron / Miss Pussycat experience is one of barely controlled electronic chaos, “Swamp-Tech” dance beats, small explosions, incredible clothes, and entertaining puppet stories.
If that hasn’t sold you, local studs (stud being a gender-neutral term) NO FI SOUL REBELLION get the party going, and I mean going. Things are going to get interesting folks, real interesting. 8 bucks at the door.
As many of you know, The Nightlight Lounge closes the last 10 days of every July to perform needed repairs on both the club and our karmic wellbeing. In other words, a vacation or to use a word I recently heard for the first time, staycation.
Question – What’s with this incessant need to coin stupid words? “Vacation” doesn’t get the job done? And isn’t staycation an inferior vacation? Let’s see, Maui vs. staying home. Look, I love Bellingham, my job, my friends, but are you kidding me? All this crap started when “slam dancing” was forcibly evicted by “moshing”. I don’t like it one bit. Why? Don’t know. I feel better now. Thanks for listening.
Anyhow, the end of The Nightlight’s summer vacation means that it is time for our annual FALL PREVIEW (a term which, while standard and boring, doesn’t need to be “improved”). Without further ado, look what we have in store for you.

Stay tuned for many, many more show announcements. There is a lot of stuff in the works that we can’t announce just yet but will make you tingle. I need to go jump in a lake. So do you. In the words of Walter Cronkite (1916-2009), an individual who truly made this nation and the world a better place and to whom we all owe a massive debt of gratitude –
And That’s The Way It Is.
Love,
Willa
Does anybody know which song Grand Puba samples in the track
“I like it”?
I’m also looking for the title of a song by Grand Puba, or Brand
Nubian, I’m not sure, which has in the chorus (sung by a woman)
“It’s a thin line between love and hate”.
Thanks a lot
